Description / Scope of Work
Punjab Power Development Company Limited (PPDCL), a government agency of Punjab, invites pre-qualification applications from firms, companies, and contractors having expertise to provide operations and maintenance (O&M) services for the 5.38 MW Chianwali Hydropower Plant (CHPP) located in Punjab province. This pre-qualification process is intended to identify and shortlist eligible service providers capable of managing comprehensive O&M operations for the hydropower facility. The successful pre-qualified contractors will be invited to participate in subsequent tender proceedings for award of the O&M contract. The scope of services includes routine maintenance, preventive maintenance, emergency repairs, equipment servicing, and operational support to ensure optimal performance and availability of the power plant throughout the contract period.
Applicants must meet specified eligibility criteria including valid business registration, no debarment history, technical qualifications in hydropower operations and maintenance, relevant experience with similar-capacity or larger power plants, and demonstrated financial capacity. Contractors must possess appropriate professional licenses and certifications relevant to hydropower plant operations.
