Description / Scope of Work
The Rawalpindi Institute of Cardiology invites electronic bids from eligible bidders for the supply of repair and maintenance services for plant and machinery at RIC Rawalpindi and NSCC Samli Murree for the financial year 2026-27. This annual tender covers comprehensive repair and maintenance services for medical and laboratory equipment across both facilities located in Rawalpindi, Punjab. The bidding process is conducted online through the Punjab E-Procurement System, and detailed specifications along with quantities of materials and services required are provided in the complete bidding documents available for download from the PPRA website, Punjab E-Procurement portal, and RIC's official website.
Eligible bidders must meet specific qualification criteria including possession of a valid National ID Card (NADRA), company profile details, minimum one year of experience in supplies to government or autonomous institutions, valid National Tax Number, General Sale Tax certificate, and Professional Tax certificate. Bidders are required to submit bid security equivalent to two percent of the estimated price in the form of bank draft, bank guarantee, call deposit receipt, demand draft, or pay order made payable to Rawalpindi Institute of Cardiology. Technical proposals must be submitted on company letterhead without any pricing information, failure to comply will result in bid cancellation. An affidavit on stamped paper of Rs.20 is also mandatory from bidders committing to provide the repair and maintenance services as per institutional demands and orders.
Bidders must submit their electronic bids online on or before 18th July 2026 at 10:00 AM through the Punjab E-Procurement System at https://ep.punjab.gov.pk, with original bid security documents submitted by the time of e-bid opening. The bid opening will take place on the same day at 10:30 AM at the Purchase Office of RIC Rawalpindi. A pre-bid meeting is scheduled for 11th July 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Purchase Office where clarifications and addendums will be discussed. Bids remain valid for 180 days from the opening date. Procurement is governed by Punjab Procurement Rules 2014 (amended) and Punjab Procurement Regulations 2024.
