A single electronic wheelchair procurement for an engineering university's biomedical department.
The bid security requirement of Rs 0.5 million and average turnover threshold of Rs 20 million annually suggest this is a small-to-medium value contract. The tender emphasises best-and-final pricing with no post-submission negotiations, indicating a straightforward process. The eligibility bar (3 years experience, specified turnover) targets established suppliers; niche medical equipment dealers meeting these criteria should apply, but unregistered startups will be automatically excluded.
Who can bid: Bidders must hold active registration with FBR or SRB (whichever applies). Minimum three years' experience in the relevant field and average annual turnover of Rs 20 million over the last three years are mandatory. An affidavit confirming no litigation, blacklisting, or corrupt practices must be dated after the NIT publication date (12 August 2026). Typically for machinery procurement, bidders are expected to provide bank solvency certificates and import/agency credentials.
