Description / Scope of Work
The Pakistan Institute of Development Economics (PIDE), Islamabad, invites sealed bids from eligible, experienced, and reputable firms for a three-year open framework agreement for repair, maintenance and renovation of building including civil works. The scope encompasses all building maintenance, repair and renovation services required by the Institute. The tender is issued under Public Procurement Rules, 2004, and eligible bidders must have offices or setups in Islamabad or Rawalpindi, be registered with the sales tax department, possess a national tax number (NTN), and be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) for civil works. The location of services is at PIDE's premises in Islamabad, Federal.
Eligible firms must demonstrate work experience in the relevant field of building repair, maintenance and renovation. Bidders are required to submit a bid security (earnest money) of Rs. 50,000 in the form of a call deposit receipt favoring PIDE, Islamabad. Additionally, firms must provide previous reputation and work completion certificates as evidence of past performance, and submit an undertaking on legal stamp paper confirming that the firm has not been blacklisted by any organization or establishment.
Interested bidders should obtain the complete tender document from the Public Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA) website at www.ppra.gov.pk or from PIDE's official website at www.pide.org.pk. Technical proposals must be submitted in sealed envelopes on or before July 21, 2026 by 11:00 hours. Bids will be opened on the same day at 11:30 am in the office of the Chairman Purchase Committee PIDE in the presence of vendors.
