Description / Scope of Work
Registration: Contractors must be registered with the Sales Tax and Income Tax departments, as well as the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Public Procurement Regulatory Authority (KPPRA) via the EPADS portal.
Bid Security (Earnest Money): A 2% bid security of the total estimated value must be uploaded to EPADS in the form of a Call Deposit Receipt (CDR) issued by an approved bank, made out to the "Superintendent District Jail Hangu". The original CDR must be physically submitted to the office before the tender opens.
Bank Statement: A certified bank statement must be submitted along with the other required documents.
Halal Food Authority Certificate: Bidders must present a valid certificate under Section 15 of the KPFS&HFA Act 2014 from the KP Food Safety & Halal Food Authority, failing which the bid will be declared non-responsive.
Performance Guarantee: The successful bidder will sign a formal contract and must deposit a Performance Guarantee equal to 5% of the total contract value in the form of a bank guarantee.
Taxes: The contractor is responsible for paying all applicable Government of Pakistan taxes, including Income Tax, Sales Tax, Professional Tax, and Stamp Duty.
