Description / Scope of Work
The Directorate General (Research), Livestock & Dairy Development Department, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa invites electronic bids through EPADS under National Competitive Bidding (NCB) for the supply of chemicals, microbial cultural media, kits, glassware, plasticware and repair of laboratory equipment for the Financial Year 2026-27. The procurement is intended for the Veterinary Research Institute, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Peshawar. Three separate technical bid categories are established with bid security requirements: chemicals, media and kits require 0.15 million call deposit receipt, glassware and plasticware require 0.15 million, and machinery and equipment require 0.05 million. The approved rates shall remain effective through 30 June 2027.
Bidders must be reputed suppliers or firms registered with FBR for GST and Income Tax as active tax payers. Each bid must be accompanied by bid security in the form of a Call Deposit Receipt (CDR) issued by a scheduled bank in favour of the Director General (Research), Livestock & Dairy Development Department, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The original CDR must be submitted in a sealed envelope before the closing deadline. A single stage, two envelope procedure will be followed in accordance with KPPRA Rules 2014.

The pre-bid meeting is scheduled for 16 July 2026 at 10:00 AM. E-bids must be uploaded on EPADS by 09:00 AM on 23 July 2026, with technical bid openings for all three categories to occur at 10:00 AM the same day in the office of the Director, Veterinary Research Institute, Peshawar. The competent authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids under clause-47 of KPPRA Rules 2014.
