Description / Scope of Work
District Headquarters Hospital Layyah invites framework contracts and tenders for the financial year 2026-2027 covering 18 distinct lots of medical, surgical, and administrative supplies and equipment. The procurement includes medicines, dialysis items, life-saving drugs, medical gases, laboratory chemicals and kits, blood bank supplies, X-ray films, stationery, printing services, dental and ophthalmology items, bedding and disposable items, general store materials, biomedical machinery and equipment, IT equipment including CCTV cameras and computers, furniture and fixtures, electrical and plumbing materials, air conditioning units, and printer toner refill services. The total estimated procurement value spans multiple millions of Pakistani rupees with individual lot values ranging from PKR 1 million to PKR 30 million. The procurement is conducted in Punjab province through the ePADS platform and is open to all eligible income tax and GST registered bidders including proprietors, partnerships, firms, and companies.
Bidders must be EPADS eligible and experienced income tax or GST filers with valid registration. Bid security requirements range from PKR 50,000 to PKR 1,500,000 depending on the lot, representing up to five percent of the estimated cost. Required documentary evidence includes undertakings, valid supporting documents, and proper technical and financial bid separation as mandated by the Punjab Procurement Rules 2014. All offered costs must include applicable taxes and charges, and the procurement agency will not be responsible for any costs not included in the bid submission. Bidders are expected to provide best and final prices with best quality offerings, as no negotiations are anticipated.
Bidding documents are obtainable from the ePADS portal or the office of the Medical Superintendent, DHQ Hospital Layyah, during office hours from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM from the date of advertisement publication. Bids must be submitted through the EPAD online platform with proper technical bid and financial bid labeling. Tender opening will occur on 20 July 2026 at 9:30 AM in the presence of bidder representatives at the Office of Medical Superintendent, DHQ Hospital Layyah.
