Description / Scope of Work
Pakistan Infrastructure Development Company Limited invites bids through E-PADS 2.0 for multiple infrastructure development projects in Karachi, Sindh province. The projects span across District West-1, covering work in numerous urban settlements including Manghopir, Surjani Town, Taiser Town, Gulshan-e-Maymar, and other areas within National Assembly constituency NA-244. The projects include construction and rehabilitation of metalled roads, provision of water supply and sewerage lines, electric poles and street lighting installations, and flooring works using concrete interlocking bricks. The total estimated value of all packages ranges from approximately Rs. 109,545 to Rs. 1,458,550 per package. The scope encompasses civil infrastructure development aimed at improving urban services and accessibility across multiple underserved settlements in western Karachi.
Bidders must be registered with relevant tax authorities and hold valid contractor licenses from the Punjab Engineering Council or equivalent bodies. Bid security is mandatory and must be submitted in the form of Pay Order, CDR, or Bank Guarantees favouring Pakistan Infrastructure Development Company Limited. The tender fee of Rs. 5,000 is non-refundable and payable as Pay Order or CDR. Bidders previously executing PIDCL projects must submit performance certificates, while new bidders must provide non-applicable certificates. All bids must include scanned copies of tender fee and bid security documentation.
Bidding documents are available online at https://eprocure.gov.pk/ for Rs. 5,000 non-refundable fee. All bids must be submitted electronically via E-PADS 2.0 system only, with original sealed tender fee, bid security, and E-stamp paper delivered to the Office of The General Manager (Engineering), PIDCL, Bahria Complex IV, 6th Floor, Ext. Block Gizri, Karachi before the submission deadline of 29 July 2026 at 2:00 PM. Bid opening will occur at the same office on 29 July 2026 at 2:30 PM.
