Description / Scope of Work
The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting (MOIB), Government of Pakistan, invites pre-qualification applications from national service providers for repair and maintenance of vehicles. This pre-qualification process is planned under FY 2026-27 with reference number P56600 and is intended to establish a panel of qualified firms to be invited for competitive bidding in subsequent procurement proceedings. The scope covers provision of comprehensive vehicle repair and maintenance services, and only pre-qualified applicants will be eligible to participate in the formal invitation to bid stage that will follow this pre-qualification exercise.
Applicants must be national firms subject to fulfilling eligibility and qualification criteria detailed in the Pre-qualification Documents. The pre-qualification process is open to all interested service providers meeting the stipulated requirements including financial capacity, past experience in vehicle repair and maintenance contracts, and technical competence. Applicants are required to submit evidence of financial resources, details of past completed contracts, and financial capacity evaluations as specified in the procurement forms.
Interested applicants may obtain complete pre-qualification documents and further information through EPADS v2.0 at https://epads.gov.pk/opportunities/federal/procurements/56600 during office hours. For Bidders: Our Analysis PAKISTANTENDER INSIGHT
Independent analysis by PakistanTender — not part of the official notice. Always confirm details against the original tender document.
MOIB is establishing a pre-qualified panel of vehicle repair/maintenance service providers for FY 2026-27, not issuing immediate contracts.
This is a gatekeeping exercise—only firms passing now enter the competitive bidding pool later. Scale appears medium to large (federal ministry fleet). Notable: this is framework pre-qualification rather than a direct procurement order, so qualification now does not guarantee work. Timeline to July 2026 is reasonable. Expect detailed financial and contract history scrutiny; past performance in similar government contracts will likely be weighted heavily.
Who can bid: National firms only. Typically require NTN, active SECP registration (if applicable structure), and valid business credentials. Must demonstrate financial capacity (likely bank statements, audited accounts), documented past experience in vehicle repair/maintenance contracts, and technical competence. Specific criteria in pre-qualification documents; contact MOIB for detailed requirements before applying.
