NIH is procuring complete transformer overhauling services at their Islamabad facility—a specialized electrical maintenance contract of moderate scope.
This is a one-off budgeted project for FY 2026-27, not routine procurement. The extended deadline (July 2026) provides adequate preparation time. Key consideration: transformer work demands technical expertise and likely certification; bidders should verify specific transformer specifications in full documents before committing, as overhauling scope can vary significantly by unit capacity and condition.
Who can bid: Bidders must be registered on EPADS v2.0 as eligible contractors. Typical requirements include valid NTN, SECP registration (if applicable corporate entity), and relevant experience credentials. PEC category not specified for this electrical/mechanical work—verify EPADS registration category requirements directly. NIH will specify minimum qualification thresholds in full bidding documents.
