For Bidders: Our Analysis PAKISTANTENDER INSIGHT
Independent analysis by PakistanTender — not part of the official notice. Always confirm details against the original tender document.
WAPDA seeks a refrigerant recovery unit for Tarbela 4th Extension power station—a specialized HVAC equipment procurement with 120-day delivery and installation timeline.
This is a single, critical infrastructure asset for an operational hydel facility, not recurring. The DDP basis shifts logistics/customs burden to supplier. Equipment must meet power station operational standards; delays risk plant downtime. Bidders should verify technical specifications and lead times before commitment, as the August 2026 deadline is firm and Tarbela's remote location may complicate logistics.
Who can bid: Original manufacturers, authorized distributors, or contractors required. Must be registered with FBR (Income Tax and Sales Tax), listed on Active Taxpayers List (ATL). Typically requires valid NTN and Sales Tax Registration. No PEC category mentioned (non-construction procurement). Local presence or agent representation advisable for DDP execution and on-site installation supervision.
