Description / Scope of Work
The Directorate General of Immigration & Passports (DGIP), an attached department of the Ministry of Interior, Government of Pakistan, invites sealed bids from eligible and authorized firms for the provision of annual maintenance and 24/7 support services for the data center facility at DGIP Headquarters in Islamabad. The contract includes comprehensive on-site support, troubleshooting, preventive and corrective maintenance, and replacement of faulty or defective parts and consumables required to ensure uninterrupted and smooth functioning of the data center equipment. The estimated contract value is Rs. 168,000,000/- for annual services. The scope of work is detailed in the bidding documents and encompasses quarterly preventive maintenance visits, emergency support as required, and complete provision of all necessary parts and components at no additional cost to the organization.
Bidders must be registered with the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) and the respective Provincial Revenue Authority for both Income Tax and Sales Tax, and must appear on the Active Taxpayers List (ATL) for both taxes. All bids must be accompanied by bid security equivalent to 2% of the estimated cost, amounting to Rs. 3,360,000/-, in the form of a bank guarantee, banker's cheque, pay order, or bank draft issued by a scheduled bank in Pakistan. The bid security shall remain valid for thirty days beyond the bid validity period.
The complete bidding documents containing terms and conditions, scope of work, instructions to bidders, evaluation criteria, and technical specifications may be obtained from Room No. 207, Directorate General of Immigration & Passports (HQ), Islamabad, during office hours upon submission of a written request and payment of a non-refundable fee of Rs. 5,000/-. Technical and financial proposals prepared in accordance with the bidding documents must be submitted in hard copy at Room No. 207, 2nd Floor, DGIP (HQ), Mauve Area, G-8/1, Islamabad, on or before 03:00 PM on 11th August, 2026. Technical proposals will be opened on the same day at 03:30 PM in the presence of bidders or their authorized representatives. Financial proposals of only technically responsive bidders will be opened at a later date. The procurement is conducted under the Single Stage–Two Envelope Procedure in accordance with the Public Procurement Rules, 2004.
