Description / Scope of Work
The Water and Power Development Authority (WAPDA) through the Chief Engineer (Operations & Maintenance) at Tarbela 4th Extension Hydel Power Station invites electronic bids for the procurement of GI Sheets, Sunlight Fiber Sheets, and Angle Iron for the Main Store of Tarbela 4th Extension HPS on a delivered duty paid (D.D.P) basis. This procurement is located at Tarbela in Punjab province and carries a contract performance period of 120 days. The tender reference numbers are PID(L)0000/26 and PRD(L)/WAPDA/005(2026-27), with bid closing scheduled for 12 August 2026.
Bidders must be original manufacturers, authorized distributors, suppliers, or contractors with valid registration at the Income Tax and Sales Tax Department and must maintain an Active Taxpayers List (ATL) status with the Federal Board of Revenue. Each bidder is required to furnish a bid security of PKR 90,000 in the original form of a crossed demand draft (CDR) payable to the Chief Engineer (O&M), T4 Extension Hydel Power Station, WAPDA Tarbela. The bid security must reach the office of the Chief Engineer before the bid closing time. Manual bids will not be accepted; all submissions must be made through the electronic procurement system.
Comprehensive e-bidding documents containing detailed terms and conditions, procurement methodology, evaluation criteria, bid validity requirements, and performance guarantee specifications are available to registered bidders on the EPADS portal at www.eprocure.gov.pk. Electronic bids must be prepared in accordance with the instructions in the e-bidding documents and submitted via EPADS on or before 12 August 2026 at 1100 hours. E-bids will be opened on the same day at 1130 hours in the presence of bidders and their representatives at Officer's Club, Riverview Colony, Tarbela.
