Rawalpindi Institute of Cardiology (RIC) located on Rawal Road, Rawalpindi, Punjab, invites sealed bids for the annual procurement of medicines, surgical items and disposable goods for Zakat and Pakistan Bait ul Mal patients during the financial year 2026-27. The contract covers supply to both RIC Rawalpindi and NSCC Samli Murree with an estimated procurement value of Rs. 25,000,000. This is an open competitive bidding process for qualified suppliers to provide essential medical consumables and pharmaceutical products to support patient care for economically disadvantaged populations funded through Zakat and Pakistan Bait ul Mal schemes.
Bidders must hold a valid National ID Card (NADRA), maintain current National Tax Number and General Sale Tax registration, and possess a minimum of two years documented experience supplying medicines and medical items to government or autonomous institutions. A bid security equivalent to 2 percent of the estimated cost (Rs. 500,000) must be submitted as a fresh Call Deposit Receipt or Bank Guarantee in the name of the Executive Director, Rawalpindi Institute of Cardiology. All technical bids must not contain any pricing information, as bids mentioning prices in the technical envelope will be rejected outright. Bidders must also submit a company profile, proof of past supply orders from government or private organizations, and an affidavit on Rs. 100 stamp paper committing to fulfill all supply demands as per orders.
