THQ Hospital Taxila invites online bids for a framework contract for local purchase of medicines, surgical and disposable items for the financial year 2026-27. The estimated contract value is PKR 4,800,000 (4.8 million). The procurement covers supply of medicines (local and multinational manufacturers) and surgical and disposable medical items in Taxila, Punjab. Bidders must quote discount percentages from the Maximum Retail Price (MRP) fixed by the Drug Regulatory Authority (DRAP) across three categories: local manufacturer medicines, multinational manufacturer medicines, and disposable and surgical items. The contract is for day-to-day and Zakat supplies to the hospital.
Eligible bidders must be financially sound firms or chains of pharmacies with a valid Retail Drug Sale License (Form-9). Mandatory requirements include a valid National ID Card, 2% bid security (CDR from a scheduled bank of Pakistan), NTN and Sales Tax registration certificate, valid income tax certificate, GST certificate if applicable, bank statement or balance sheet of the last one year, and an affidavit on Rs. 100 stamp paper confirming no blacklisting and compliance with the Punjab Medicine Formulary (updated version 2022) and Drug Act 1976. Technical staff details and supply orders from government organizations during the past year must also be provided.
Bids will be submitted electronically on the Punjab E-Procurement website by 25 July 2026 at 10:30 am, with e-bid opening scheduled for 11:00 am the same day at the office of the Medical Superintendent. Original bid security documents must be submitted physically before e-bid submission. Procurement follows the single stage two-envelope open competitive bidding procedure under Punjab Procurement Rules PPRA 2014.
