Description / Scope of Work
Civil Hospital Mehdiabad, under the Government of Gilgit Baltistan, invites sealed quotations and tenders from eligible firms and contractors for the supply and purchase of various items and services during the financial year 2026-2027. The procurement includes eight categories: local purchase of medicines with a security amount of PKR 20,000; supply of stationery items and printing materials; supply of ordinance store items; supply of spare parts and repair services for vehicles; supply of firewood and LPG gas for hospital wards; supply of miscellaneous items; and diet supply for indoor patients. All items are required to meet specifications in accordance with GB-PPRA procurement rules for regular and development fund allocations.
Bidders must submit a refundable CDR (Call Deposit Receipt) in favor of the DDO Civil Hospital Mehdiabad as applicable. For the local purchase of medicines, bidders are required to possess a valid drug sale license issued by the concerned Drug Regulatory Authority and maintain a functional medical store. Separate rate lists for National and Multinational pharmaceutical companies must be submitted. Quotations will not be accepted if offering prices are extremely high or below local market rates. All supplied items must strictly conform to approved specifications and quality standards, with no changes permitted after contract award.
The tender opening is scheduled for July 28, 2026, with closing times between 12:00 PM and 3:00 PM depending on the item category. Bids should be submitted in sealed envelopes to the DDO/APMO office at Civil Hospital Mehdiabad before the specified closing time. If the tender opening date falls on a local holiday, the opening will be rescheduled to the next working day at the same time.
