Description / Scope of Work
DDO Civil Hospital Olding, under the Government of Gilgit Baltistan, invites sealed quotations and tenders from eligible firms and contractors for the supply and purchase of essential items during the financial year 2026-2027. The procurement covers seven categories including local purchase of medicines, stationery and printing items, ordnance store supplies, vehicle spare parts and repair services, firewood and LPG gas for hospital wards, miscellaneous items, and diet supplies for indoor patients. The total security amounts range from PKR 10,000 to PKR 20,000 across different categories. All procurement shall be subject to availability of funds and in accordance with relevant budget heads and GB-PPRA regulations, with all supplies required to conform strictly to specified quality standards.
Bidders must submit refundable Calldeposit receipts in favor of the DDO Civil Hospital Olding. For medicines procurement specifically, bidders must possess a valid drug sale license issued by the concerned Drug Regulatory Authority and maintain a functional medical store, with separate rate lists required for National and Multinational pharmaceutical companies. No change in approved quantity or quality is permitted after contract award. The undersigned reserves the right to reject any quotation if the offering price is extremely high or significantly less than the prevailing local market rate, in accordance with PPRA Rule 36(1).
All sealed tenders must be submitted by 12:00 PM on July 27, 2026, with opening scheduled between 1:30 PM and 3:00 PM the same day depending on item category. Should the tender opening date coincide with a local or public holiday, opening shall be rescheduled to the next working day at the same time.
