The Communications and Works Department, Gilgit-Baltistan invites sealed tenders under Single Stage One Envelope (SSO) procedure for metalling and road construction works across multiple locations in Gilgit-Baltistan. The tender package comprises three distinct projects: metalling of road in GBA-21 Yasin Sumal (Part-I) with estimated cost PKR 40611789, metalling of roads in GBA-21 Yasin Sumal (Part-II) valued at PKR 27920339, and strengthening of scattered area management system in Gilgit-Baltistan including DFO House Gahkuch, DFO Office, and RFO House Office Gups components with costs ranging from PKR 9978217 to PKR 9137988. The total estimated project value spans multiple packages across different phases of implementation in the Gilgit-Baltistan region.
Eligible bidders must be licensed by the Pakistan Engineering Council as appropriate category contractors and possess valid PEC licenses valid for 2026 with at least one year experience in similar works. Bidders must submit original departmental No Litigation Certificate on behalf of the Secretary Works CAWD for the financial year 2026-2027 and provide a copy of National Identity Card for the firm's owner. Bid security is required in the form of a CDR (Earnest Money Deposit) at the prescribed rate, with tender amounts typically 15% below the technically sanctioned cost. Additional performance guarantee of 10% of the difference between bid and tender estimate value is mandatory in case of cost variation.
Bidding documents are available from the office of the undersigned on submission of tender form fee through treasury challan as non-refundable earnest money against working days as per following terms and conditions. Bids must be submitted in the prescribed format sealed and addressed to the Executive Engineer, R&R Division, CAWD Ghizer.
