Description / Scope of Work
The Water & Power Division Diamer Chilas invites sealed tenders from approved Government contractors and firms registered with the Water & Power Department for six works totaling an estimated value of approximately 8.8 million Pakistani Rupees. The procurement covers installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical infrastructure including 200 KVA and 100 KVA step-down transformers at multiple locations in Diamer Chilas district, Gilgit-Baltistan, along with hydro power station maintenance and transmission line repairs. Work sites include Guner Farm, Halqa NO.1, Drang Dass, Hodor, Raikote, and Chilas, with estimated project costs ranging from 1.22 to 2.14 million Rupees per item. The tender invitations are extended with a notice of extension dated 1st July 2026.
Prospective bidders must be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council in a relevant category with valid renewal for the fiscal year 2025-26, and must provide proof of renewal fee payment for the same period. Earnest money deposit equivalent to two percent of the estimated cost must accompany all bidding documents. Tender forms are available at a cost of 4,000 Pakistani Rupees each. All submissions must comply with standard government procurement regulations and terms established by the Water & Power Division.
Bid documents may be obtained from the Office of the Executive Engineer, Water & Power Division, Diamer Chilas. Submission dates and opening dates vary by item, with submissions occurring between 4th and 5th August 2026 at specified morning times (9:00 AM to 11:00 AM), and opening ceremonies immediately following at 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM on the same dates.
