Description / Scope of Work
Sindh Madressatul Islam University, Karachi invites electronic bids for the supply, installation, testing, commissioning and training of network equipment as a turnkey solution at the university's main city campus on Aiwan-e-Tijarat Road, Karachi. This procurement is undertaken by the IT Procurement Committee under tender reference TENDER-2026-27/01 and Notice No. SMIU/TEND/2026-27/03. The project is to be completed within thirty days of contract award. Interested bidders must be registered contractors or firms with at least five years of relevant experience in network equipment supply and installation. Tender documents are available for download from the E-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System (EPADS) portal at https://portalsindh.eprocure.gov.pk and from SMIU's website.
Eligibility requirements include registration on the EPADS system and submission of a tender fee of Rs. 5,000 along with bid security equivalent to two percent of the bid price in the form of a call deposit, pay order, demand draft or bank guarantee issued by a scheduled bank of Pakistan. Interested bidders must register on EPADS at https://sindh.eprocure.gov.pk/#/supplier/registration for electronic bid submission. Bids must comply with the prescribed bidding documents and may not be partial, conditional or incomplete.
Electronic bids must be submitted exclusively through EPADS by Wednesday, 22nd July 2026 by 02:30 PM. The original tender fee and bid security documents must be physically delivered to the Procuring Agency in a sealed envelope prior to the electronic bid deadline. Technical bids will be opened on the same day at 03:00 PM by the Procurement Committee in Conference Room No. 2 at SMIU, Karachi, in the presence of bidders or their authorized representatives. Financial bids of technically qualified firms will be opened subsequently. The bid validity period is ninety days.
