Description / Scope of Work
Kinnaird College for Women, located in Lahore, Punjab, invites sealed tenders from interested bidders and tax filers for the disposal of miscellaneous condemned scrap materials and goods through an open bidding process. This procurement is conducted under RFP Enquiry No. 00116 for the 2026-2027 fiscal period. The scrap materials are situated within the campus at 93-A Jail Road, Lahore, and shall be sold on an as-is-where-is basis. Interested bidders and parties may inspect the scrap materials during official hours between 10:00 am to 4:00 pm from Monday to Friday at the designated premises.
Eligible bidders must be tax filers under the FBR as per details given in the tender documents and must comply with all terms and conditions specified. Bidding shall be conducted through registered post or courier services following single-stage open procedure as outlined in the PPRA Rules 2014. A bid security worth PKR 50,000 in the form of pay order or demand draft is mandatory and must be deposited without request letters or applications. The highest bidder will be required to deposit 100 percent of the total offered value within one week after receiving the award letter notification, failing which the security may be forfeited and KCW reserves the right to award the work to the next highest bidder.
Detailed bid documents containing terms and conditions are available from the purchase office against submission of a request letter and application along with a non-refundable fee of PKR 3,000 payable through bank draft or pay order. Bids must be received at the specified address on or before 22 July 2026 at 11:00 am sharp and will be opened the same day at 11:30 am in the boardroom at the principal's office premises. Bid validity shall be 90 days. The competent authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids or proposals at any time prior to acceptance.
