For Bidders: Our Analysis PAKISTANTENDER INSIGHT
Independent analysis by PakistanTender — not part of the official notice. Always confirm details against the original tender document.
KAPCO seeks specialized contractor for high-voltage transformer replacement: remove two 100 MVA units (220/132 kV) and install two larger 160 MVA used units with full commissioning and protection relay testing.
Turnkey scope in Sindh implies site logistics complexity and tight coordination with grid operator protocols. This is one-off decommissioning/commissioning work requiring immediate capability in HV testing and NGC compliance procedures—not routine maintenance.
Who can bid: Restricted to firms with proven transformer dismantling/installation/commissioning experience. Must hold appropriate HV electrical work licenses and qualifications. Typically requires NTN, SECP registration, and relevant electrical safety certifications (NEPRA/NTDC approval may be implicit for NGC-connected work). No PEC category stated.
