Description / Scope of Work
Heavy Industries Taxila, Supply Chain Management Directorate, Taxila Cantt, Punjab, invites sealed bids for two separate tender inquiries on a fixed price firm basis. Tender IT-7216 covers annual calibration of master instruments and equipments, while Tender IT-7217 addresses annual proficiency testing to maintain accreditation status. Both contracts are issued under reference 8600/IT-7216&7217/FOR-B/DESCOM/SCM dated July 2026. Participating firms must submit separate technical and commercial bids for each tender in single envelopes with distinct offers clearly marked. The procurement follows a single stage two envelope bidding procedure.
Bidders must meet standard eligibility requirements including valid business registration, relevant technical qualifications, and necessary certifications to provide calibration and proficiency testing services. Bid security in the form of earnest money is mandatory as per tender specifications. Prospective bidders should review the detailed technical specifications, evaluation criteria, and contractual terms provided in Annexures A and B of the tender document before submitting proposals. Bank guarantees for advance payment and performance warranty may be required as stipulated in the contract conditions.
Bids can be submitted from the date of tender publication until 10:30 AM on 27 July 2026 at Gate Number 5, Heavy Industries Taxila.
