Description / Scope of Work
The District Emergency Officer, Gilgit-Baltistan Emergency Services (Rescue 1122) invites sealed bids from well-reputed contractors, authorized dealers, suppliers and registered firms for the procurement of various items and services for the financial year 2026-27. The scope of procurement includes five main categories: repair and maintenance work of transport and equipment with a bid security of Rs 80,000; drugs and medicine supplies requiring Rs 30,000 bid security; gases including oxygen cylinders and dry powder for chemical use with Rs 30,000 security; miscellaneous items with Rs 25,000 security; and office stationery items also requiring Rs 25,000 bid security. All procurement activities are conducted under the supervision of the Director General, GB Emergency Services (Rescue 1122) at the District Gilgit office, covering essential operational and administrative requirements for emergency response services in Gilgit-Baltistan.
Eligible bidders must be well-reputed contractors, authorized dealers, suppliers or firms registered under relevant categories for the respective heads of classification. Bids will be processed under the single stage one envelope procedure as per GB PPRA rule 2022 clause 39(a) and other applicable terms and conditions specified in the tender documents for each category. Bidders are required to deposit non-refundable tender fees via treasury Challan form (T.R.6) of Rs 4,000 against serial numbers 1, 2, 3 and Rs 2,000 against serial numbers 4 and 5 on the GB consolidated fund account. All submissions must comply with the prescribed bid security amounts for each classification.
Tender documents in hard and soft copy format can be obtained from the office of the District Emergency Officer GBES (Rescue 1122) in District Gilgit up to 24th July 2026 during working hours. Sealed bids must be submitted at the District Emergency Officer's office on 27th July 2026 with multiple opening times specified for each category ranging from 11:30 AM to 3:30 PM on the same date. Bids received after the scheduled closing time will not be entertained.
