Description / Scope of Work
NED University of Engineering & Technology invites sealed bids for the import of laboratory equipment on C&F basis for the Department of Bio Engineering and Medical Engineering. This procurement is part of the MEGA-6 project for strengthening of lab facilities in five leading engineering universities including UET Peshawar, Taxila, Lahore, Khuzdar and NED Karachi. The tender is being processed through the electronic procurement system EPADS based on a single stage one envelope bidding procedure. Bidders are required to submit their best and final prices as no negotiations will be permitted after bid submission.
Eligibility criteria mandate that bidders must possess at least three years of relevant experience in laboratory equipment supply and distribution. Prospective bidders are required to demonstrate an average annual turnover of not less than Rs 100 million for the last three years as per online annual returns submitted to the Federal Board of Revenue. Bidders must be registered with GST with active status and provide an affidavit on non-judicial stamp paper confirming no litigation history, non-blacklisting status, and commitment to ethical business practices. Bid security of two percent of the bid value in the form of a pay order should be made in favor of the Director Finance, NED University.
