Description / Scope of Work
The Institute of Business Administration (IBA) Karachi invites quotations for repair and renovation work related to a sliding white board mechanism at the Faysal Block, IBA City Campus in Karachi, Sindh. This Request for Quotation (RFQ-003872) covers building improvement works with two line items, each for one unit of repair and renovation work. The project is located at IBA City Campus, and completed deliverables are to be received at the Stores, IBA Main Campus, University Road, Karachi. The scope of work is detailed in the attached Bill of Quantities (BOQ), and General Sales Tax (SST) at applicable rates will be charged on the works performed.
Prospective bidders must conduct a mandatory site visit before submitting their quotations. The site visit is scheduled for 13 July 2026, Monday at 12:00 PM at IBA City Campus (Extension 1502). Quotations must be submitted by 15 July 2026 at 5:00 PM. Bidders are required to provide quotations strictly in accordance with the attached BOQ specifications. All government taxes, levies, and charges will be applied as per applicable rates and SRO notifications. Stamp duty at 0.35% on the total Purchase Order value for goods will be levied accordingly. A liquidity damage penalty of 2% per month on actual cost will be imposed for delayed delivery.
Quotations should be addressed to the Purchase Department, IBA Main Campus, University Road, Karachi (telephone: 02138104700, Extension 2154). Invoices and bills must be submitted to the Purchase Department upon completion of work. Payment will be made through crossed cheque upon receipt of invoice and delivery. IBA reserves the right to accept or reject any quotation without assigning reasons, to award items to different lowest responsive bidders, and to modify quantities or specifications as needed. Advance payment is subject to provision of a Bank Guarantee. For detailed specifications and BOQ requirements, bidders must contact the Purchase Department or visit the site.
