Description / Scope of Work
Joint Authority Okara, under the Government of the Punjab, District Okara, is inviting technical and financial bids for the installation of LED floodlights and related sports infrastructure development works for the year 2026-27. This tender is open to experienced, technically and financially capable contractors and firms holding PEC registration in relevant fields (CE01, CE09, CE10, CE11, EE04, ME02, ME04, BC01, EE11 categories) with a maximum project construction cost limit of 200 million rupees. The scope of work encompasses complete electrical installations, solar system deployment, floodlight installations with poles, construction of playgrounds, gymnasiums, squash courts, swimming pools with equipment and filtration systems, synthetic athletic tracks, tennis courts, badminton courts, basketball courts, volleyball courts, and all other sports-related infrastructure components across Okara district.
Eligible applicants must be C-4 category or above contractors with demonstrated experience in civil works, electrical installations, and sports infrastructure development. Bidders are required to submit both technical and financial bids under a single stage two-envelope tendering process as prescribed by the Punjab Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA) rules. The technical evaluation will be conducted by a tender evaluation committee, and only technically qualified firms will have their financial bids opened during the financial bidding process.
Bidding documents are available for download and submission on the Punjab e-Procurement System (eP portal) portal where both technical and financial bids must be uploaded by 25 July 2026. The tender bidding documents should clearly state the tender category and reference the single stage two envelope process of bidding. Applicants will be notified on the portal regarding the results of technical evaluation, which may result in non-responsive, qualified, or disqualified status determinations.
