Description / Scope of Work
The District Council Dera Ghazi Khan, Punjab, invites sealed electronic bids through single stage one envelope open competitive bidding for three framework contracts in fiscal year 2026-27. The procurement includes: procurement of goods estimated at PKR 1,97,33,000 with earnest money of PKR 9,86,650; procurement of services valued at PKR 1,87,35,000 with earnest money of PKR 9,36,750; and maintenance and repair works for water supply and disposal works estimated at PKR 1,98,50,000 with earnest money of PKR 9,92,500. All contracts shall be completed as per respective work orders. Eligible bidders must be registered or renewed with Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in the relevant category. The procurement shall be carried out through the Punjab E-Procurement System (https://ep.punjab.gov.pk) and will be evaluated using the least cost method.
Prospective contractors and firms are required to submit earnest money in the form of a Call Deposit Receipt (CDR) from any scheduled bank at five percent of the estimated cost. Bidders must produce the original CDR to the Chief Officer on company letterhead on or before the bid closing time, otherwise the online bid shall not be entertained. Scanned copies of earnest money documents must accompany all online submissions. Bidding documents must be duly signed and stamped by authorized representatives, with price schedules and bid security submitted on company letterhead. All bids must be uploaded as PDF files through the Punjab e-Procurement system.
Bidders must submit e-bids on or before 27th July 2026 at 02:00 PM. Proposals will be opened on the same date at 02:30 PM in District Council Hall, Dera Ghazi Khan. No telephonic, conditional, or bids without earnest money shall be entertained. The bidding documents are available on the Punjab e-Procurement system and PPRA website. All relevant Punjab Procurement Rules 2014 and PPRA Regulations 2024 shall apply.
