Description / Scope of Work
Public Health Engineering Division Karak-II invites online electronic bids for the construction of 35 drinking water supply and sanitation schemes across southern districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, including Kohat, Hangu, Karak, Bannu, Lakki Marwat, Tank and D.I. Khan. The tender encompasses primarily solar-based drinking water supply schemes (DWSS) with estimated costs ranging from PKR 1.9 million to PKR 12.3 million per scheme, totaling approximately PKR 330 million. Projects are located in various villages and settlements throughout the region and include installation of small-scale solar systems, water storage infrastructure and distribution networks to serve rural and semi-rural communities.
Bidders must hold valid registration with Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC), active status with KP Revenue Authority (KPRA) and Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), KP Central Enlistment Registration, and provide an affidavit of non-blacklisting. Bid security of 2% of estimated cost must be submitted as a Call Deposit Receipt. Bidders quoting 10-20% below the Engineer's Estimate must provide an additional 8% security, while those exceeding 20% discount must deposit the full differential amount with detailed rate analysis. Form-H or SECP registration is required if applicable.
Bid documents are available for download from the E-PADS website. Bids must be submitted online through the E-PADS system with all scanned mandatory documents attached. Original bid security must reach the office by registered courier before the closing deadline. Bids close on 16th September 2026 at 11:30 AM and will be opened the same day at 1:30 PM at the Office of the Executive Engineer, PHE Division Karak-II, near Telephone Exchange Karak. The bid validity period is 90 days from opening date.
