Description / Scope of Work
District Council Gujranwala invites sealed tenders for implementation of budget allocation for fiscal year 2026-27 across eleven distinct annual framework contracts for repair, rehabilitation, provision of services, and maintenance works. The tender covers multiple schemes including disposal station repairs, generator and equipment provision, culvert and bridge patchwork, manhole covers and frames, sewer line desalting, water supply leakage repairs, streamers and banners provision, rented machinery hiring, operational vehicle repairs, rental items including tentage and canopy, and safety net installation. The total estimated cost across all schemes is approximately 152.961 million rupees, with individual scheme values ranging from 4.000 to 30.000 million rupees. All works shall be executed within the jurisdiction of District Council Gujranwala in Punjab province under PPRA Rules and regulations.
Tenders are invited from registered contractors on e-PADs and Pakistan Engineering Council in the relevant category and codes for the financial year 2026-27. Bidders must upload earnest money as CDR in favor of District Council Gujranwala at five percent of estimated cost, with the original CDR submitted to the Tender Opening Committee half hour before bid opening. Conditional tenders shall not be entertained, and selection shall be based on least cost method. Successful bidders offering rates more than 4.99 percent below the estimated cost must deposit additional performance security according to PPRA Works Rules 2017. All contractors and participants must comply with applicable laws and rules, with legal action taken against non-compliant submissions.
Bidding documents shall be uploaded on EPAD Dashboard by 28 July 2026 at 02:00 PM and opened the same day at 02:30 PM in the Hall of District Council, Gujranwala, in the presence of contractors or their representatives.
