Description / Scope of Work
The Government College of Technology (M) Sargodha, operating under the Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority (TEVTA) of the Government of the Punjab, invites sealed bids for a contract to manage and operate hostel mess facilities in the boys' hostels for approximately 250 students during the academic session 2026-27. The procurement covers catering services across three major hostels: Jinnah Hostel and Iqbal Hostel (each with estimated bills of PKR 400,000 and accommodating 50 students) and Tipu Hostel (estimated bill of PKR 1,200,000 accommodating 150 students), with a combined total estimated bill amount of PKR 2,000,000. The college is located in Sargodha, Punjab, and the contract shall remain valid for one academic year from the date of signing with potential extension based on satisfactory performance.
Bidders must be registered with the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) and possess valid GST and National Tax Number (NTN) registration. Firms are required to submit copies of GST and NTN certificates along with authorization documents and CNIC photocopies of authorized representatives. An earnest money deposit of five percent of the estimated price (PKR 100,000) must be deposited through DD/PO in the name of "G.C.T SARGODHA NON SALARY ACCOUNT" and must be delivered in original well before the bid opening. Construction-related and non-catering firms are not eligible and will be automatically rejected. The bid validity period is 120 days.
Bidding documents can be downloaded from the PPRA website at http://ppra.punjab.gop.pk. Bids must be submitted through the E-PADS Portal on or before 03-08-2026 at 1:00 PM, with bid opening scheduled for the same date at 1:30 PM. Bidders are advised to ensure timely upload on the E-PADS Portal; the college shall not be held responsible for portal-related issues.
