Description / Scope of Work
King Edward Medical University, Lahore invites sealed bids from eligible manufacturers, authorized distributors and well-reputed firms for a framework agreement to supply annual general refreshment items, tenting and catering services, and bakery products for different societies, workshops and conferences at the university during the financial year 2026-27. The contract is to be executed on a rate-running basis for one year with free delivery to the consignee's end. Bidding shall be conducted under Punjab Procurement Rules 2014 (amended to date) and shall be governed by PPRA regulations.
Eligible bidders must be duly registered with the Income Tax and Sales Tax Departments, possess active professional tax for the current financial year, and have no history of bad experience with KEMU. Bidders must submit a call deposit or bid security equivalent to two percent of the estimated price in the form of a Certificate of Deposit (CDR) or bank guarantee in the name of the Vice Chancellor KEMU, Lahore with their technical proposal. The bid validity period is 180 days from the date of opening.
Bidding documents are available for download from the KEMU website (https://kemu.edu.pk) and the Punjab Procurement Regulatory Authority portal (http://ep.punjab.gov.pk/viewtender.aspx). Single-stage two-envelope procedure shall be adopted with technical proposal opened first. Sealed bids should be submitted to the Vice Chancellor, King Edward Medical University, Lahore by the stipulated date and time. Technical bids will be evaluated, followed by a five-day grievance window before financial bids are opened on 08 September 2026 at 10:30 am at the Senior Purchase Office, Patiala Block, KEMU, Lahore.
