Procurement of Wheat by Punjab Prisons Department, District Jail Attock

The Punjab Prisons Department, Government of the Punjab, invites sealed electronic bids for the procurement of wheat (FAQ) for District Jail Attock. The estimated quantity is 50,000 kilograms with an estimated value of 1,500,000 Pakistani rupees. This procurement is conducted under the Punjab Procurement Authority Act 2009 and Punjab Procurement Rules 2014. The tender is open to eligible suppliers, associations, sole proprietors, authorized dealers and general order suppliers registered with relevant authorities and the EPADS portal of PPRA. Bidders must be registered with Income Tax, Sales Tax and Punjab Sales Tax departments and must not be blacklisted by the Procuring Agency or PPRA. Government-owned enterprises may participate only with proper authorization from competent authorities.

Eligible bidders include suppliers and associations of firms registered with relevant Registration Authorities and Tax Departments. Bidders should not have been associated with firms engaged by the Procuring Agency for consultancy services in preparing design specifications for this procurement. Joint Ventures, Consortiums, or Associations are permitted with all members being jointly and severally liable, and must nominate a Lead Member. A bid security of two percent is required. Bidders must meet all eligibility criteria and provide required documentation as specified in the bidding documents.

The bid submission deadline is 27 July 2026 at 11:00 AM, with bid opening scheduled for 11:30 AM on the same date. Bid documents are available on the PPRA e-procurement portal at http://epp.punjab.gov.pk. Bidders can download specifications and submit bids electronically through the portal.
