The Govt. Secondary Institute for the Blind (Boys) Sargodha invites electronic bids from eligible suppliers for the provision of food commodities to special students living in the hostel during the financial year 2026-27. The procurement is valued at PKR 40,00,000 (forty lakh) with a call deposit receipt of PKR 80,000 (eighty thousand). This tender covers feeding, diet, and food charges for visually impaired boys residing in the hostel in Sargodha, Punjab. The contract period extends to 30 June 2027 from the tender opening date. Eligible bidders must be registered on the Punjab e-Procurement System and comply with all applicable regulatory requirements under the Punjab Procurement Rules 2014 and Punjab Electronic Procurement Regulations 2024.
Participating firms must submit a bid security equivalent to 2% of the estimated cost through their banking app via 1Link/Online Bank Transfer against the generated PSID. Suppliers must be registered for Sales Tax and with the Food Authority Department. All rates quoted must be in Pakistani Rupees inclusive of all applicable taxes, which will be deducted at source according to prevalent tax rules. Single envelope (technical and financial) bidding procedure will be followed. The successful bidder must deposit a performance guarantee at 8% of the contract amount in accordance with Rule 56, Chapter VII of the Punjab Procurement Rules 2014.
Bid documents can be obtained from the Punjab e-Procurement System at https://en.punjab.gov.pk/ and the PPRA website https://ppra.punjab.gov.pk/. E-bids must be submitted by 14 September 2026 at 10:00 AM with opening scheduled for the same date at 10:30 AM through the Punjab e-Procurement System. The competent authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids according to evaluation criteria at any time prior to acceptance. Late submissions or bids without required earnest money proof will not be acceptable.
