Framework Contract for Laboratory Items Supply 2026-27 by THQ Hospital Taxila

Tehsil Head Quarter Hospital Taxila, operating under the Health & Population Department of the Government of Punjab, invites online bids from interested firms, agencies, authorized dealers and manufacturers for a framework contract to supply laboratory items during the financial year 2026-27. The procurement is for an estimated contract value of 4.8 million Pakistani rupees and covers the supply of various laboratory reagents and consumables required for the hospital's laboratory operations in Taxila. The contract will remain valid until 30 June 2027, with procurement to be conducted through the Punjab E-Procurement portal following open competitive bidding procedures as prescribed under the Punjab Procurement Rules 2014 as latest amended.

Eligible bidders must be financially sound organizations with reputable backgrounds and must be registered with the Federal Board of Revenue for Income Tax purposes. Bidders are required to provide a bid security amount equal to 2 percent of the estimated cost, valid for 90 days, in the form of a bank draft, bank guarantee, call deposit receipt, demand draft, pay order, or banker's cheque. NTN and Sales Tax registration certificates must be provided with the bid submission. For hematology reagents specifically, bidders must submit samples along with valid agency agreements, valid distribution certificates, quality certifications, and authority letters from manufacturers, without which bids will be rejected. All technical decisions made by the evaluation committee regarding samples and certifications are final and cannot be challenged.

Bidders must register on the Punjab E-Procurement website as a prerequisite for participation. E-bids must be submitted online by 28 July 2026 at 10:30 AM, with original bid security documents submitted to the office of the Medical Superintendent on or before the bid closing time. Bids will be opened online at 11:00 AM on the same date in the presence of the evaluation committee and any attending bidders' representatives.
