For Bidders: Our Analysis PAKISTANTENDER INSIGHT
Independent analysis by PakistanTender — not part of the official notice. Always confirm details against the original tender document.
NUMS seeks armed security services across multiple campuses and nationwide examination venues — a large-scale, recurring contract involving personnel deployment (armed guards, QRF, lady searchers) plus equipment provision.
Notable: NUMS retains unilateral scope/duration adjustment rights without price revision, creating revenue uncertainty. Weapons licensing is mandatory. The 180-day price validity and satisfaction-report-gated payment release suggest extended service periods; this is institutional security, not a one-off project. Winning bidders face cash-flow risk if NUMS delays satisfaction certification.
Who can bid: Typically, bidders must be registered with SECP (as company) or NTN-registered firms with valid provincial business registration. Mandatory: weapons/ammunition licenses for armed guard provision. Proven security services experience required. PEC category not stated (non-construction); no specific authority approval mentioned. NUMS retains right to assess 'requisite technical and professional expertise' — criteria not detailed.
