For Bidders: Our Analysis PAKISTANTENDER INSIGHT
Independent analysis by PakistanTender — not part of the official notice. Always confirm details against the original tender document.
Port Qasim Authority seeks a 24-month janitorial contractor for comprehensive cleaning/sweeping across its port facility, offices and housing in Karachi.
Scale is substantial—a strategic government asset requiring continuous service delivery and demonstrated operational capacity. The 2-year term signals stable, recurring work but implies high staffing/equipment overhead. Tight deadline (August 2026) and mandatory Rs1M bid security indicate serious pre-qualification filtering. Bidders must already hold dual tax registrations, suggesting preference for established firms over startups.
Who can bid: Bidders must hold Income Tax and Sindh Sales Tax registration. Prior relevant cleaning/sweeping experience and qualified personnel mandatory. Financial soundness required but undefined—typically assessed via audited accounts, bank statements, and credit references. No PEC category stated (non-construction). Federal/provincial government contract experience likely preferred implicitly.
