Repair and Maintenance of Government Vehicles by Gilgit-Baltistan Directorate

The Gilgit-Baltistan Directorate of Industries, Labour and Commerce invites sealed tenders from government-registered firms for repair and maintenance of government vehicles during the financial year 2026-27. This tender is issued under the sanctioned regular budget and covers the provision of comprehensive vehicle maintenance and repair services for the directorate's fleet. The tender notice is issued from the office located at KIU road near Globe Chowk Konodas in Gilgit, Gilgit-Baltistan province. The call deposit amount is Rs. 50,000 (refundable), and interested bidders must submit their proposals on or before 29 July 2026 at 11:30 AM.

Eligible bidders must be government-registered firms with a minimum of five years' experience in vehicle repair and maintenance, supported by relevant start orders or completion certificates. All bids must be submitted in typed form on company letterhead with original affidavits for non-blacklisting on stamp paper valued at Rs. 100. Bidders are required to possess their own spare parts shop or workshop in Gilgit and must be capable of supplying services in Gilgit-Baltistan as well as Islamabad on demand. A valid firm registration certificate, Form C, or SECP registration certificate must be submitted along with the tender documents.

Tender documents must be obtained from the Directorate of Industries, Labour and Commerce office in Gilgit before 29 July 2026 during office hours. Sealed tenders should be submitted in a single-stage two-envelope procedure with separate technical and financial proposals. The successful bidder will be bound to repair and maintain the directorate's vehicles until 30 June 2027 at the quoted rates. Item rates below or above fifteen percent of prevailing market rates will not be acceptable and will result in automatic rejection. Tender opening will occur on the same day as the submission deadline in the presence of the contractor or authorized representatives, and the tender committee reserves the right to accept or reject any tender as per PPRA GB Rules 2022.
