Description / Scope of Work
Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) invites sealed electronic bids for the financial year 2026-27 for supply of electrical materials on free delivery basis to IESCO Regional Stores in Rawalpindi, Islamabad and Rajjar. The procurement includes 63 KVA single phase pad mounted transformers (20 units), 100 KVA pad mounted transformers (150 units), 400 KVA pad mounted transformers (50 units), 630 KVA pad mounted transformers (20 units), PVC cables of various specifications totaling 155 kilometers, single core joint kits, termination kits for indoor and outdoor applications, and PVC joint kits. The total bid board amount for all items ranges from PKR 50,000 to PKR 3,000,000 per line item, with combined procurement value exceeding PKR 10 million.
Only firms and manufacturers registered with DISCOs, PPMC, WAPDA, NGC (formerly NTDC) and FBR with valid prototype approval where applicable are eligible to participate. Bidders must submit sealed bid security or bank guarantees in original form valid for 28 to 88 days beyond bid validity as specified for each tender lot. The bid security amount varies by item and must be issued by a scheduled bank of Pakistan in favor of the Chief Executive Officer IESCO Islamabad. Bidders must hold valid prototype approval at the time of bid opening.
Bids must be submitted exclusively through the E-PAK Acquisition and Disposal System (E-PADS) portal at www.epads.gov.pk in single stage one envelope format. All mandatory information as per bidding documents must be uploaded online. Tender opening will be conducted on 28 July 2026 from 10:30 AM onwards at IESCO Head Office G-7/4 Street No. 40, Islamabad in the presence of authorized representatives. Bid prices must be firm and final on DDP basis without foreign exchange involvement.
