For Bidders: Our Analysis PAKISTANTENDER INSIGHT

SSGC seeks specialized contractors to upgrade the Centralized Control Room at its Karachi Terminal transmission facility.
This is a discrete capital project with detailed BOQ specifications, likely valued in the medium to large range given the technical scope and PEC C-6+ requirement. The tight bidding timeline (17 days from notice to submission) is typical for SSGC procurements. Bidders must be registered on EPADS v2.0 and maintain active PEC certification; this appears to be a one-off modernization rather than a recurring service contract.
Who can bid: Bidders must hold a valid Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) certificate Category C-6 or above and be registered on EPADS v2.0. All prospective bidders should be corporate entities capable of undertaking non-consultancy services and compliant with the Public Procurement Rules 2004. Typically, NTN registration and good standing with relevant regulatory authorities are expected.
