Description / Scope of Work
The National Highway Authority (NHA) Northern Areas Region is re-inviting electronic bids for a special maintenance work involving the provision and installation of Khoji explosive detectors on the Hazara Motorway for eight tunnels on the CPEC-HT section of E-35, located in Abbottabad, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. This safety equipment installation project has an engineer's estimate of PKR 5,769,000 and aims to enhance security infrastructure at critical tunnel locations along the motorway corridor.
Bidders must be constructors registered with the Income Tax Department and listed as active taxpayers by the Federal Board of Revenue. They are required to have valid registration with the Pakistan Engineering Council in Category C-5 or above with specialization in EE-02. The bid security amount is PKR 115,380. The procurement will follow a Single Stage Two Envelope method through the NHA's e-Bidding system, and all bidders must obtain EPADS (PPRA) registration at www.eprocure.gov.pk as manual hard copy bids will no longer be accepted.
Bidding documents are available for free download from the NHA website starting July 21, 2026. Electronic bids must be submitted to the NHA Complex, Havelian Interchange, Abbottabad by July 31, 2026 by 1130 hours. Technical bids will be opened on the same day at 1200 hours.
