For Bidders: Our Analysis PAKISTANTENDER INSIGHT
Independent analysis by PakistanTender — not part of the official notice. Always confirm details against the original tender document.
NHA is procuring and installing Khoji explosive detectors across 8 tunnels on Hazara Motorway's CPEC section—a specialized security infrastructure upgrade rather than routine maintenance.
At ~PKR 5.8M, this is medium-scale work with tight execution timeline (10 days between document release and bid closure). Notable: this is a re-invite, suggesting previous tender challenges; requires PEC Category C-5+ with specific EE-02 specialization, limiting eligible competitors. One-off project addressing critical CPEC corridor security.
Who can bid: Bidders must be PEC-registered Category C-5 or above with EE-02 specialization (electrical/electronics). Must hold active income tax registration and FBR taxpayer status. EPADS (PPRA) registration mandatory—no hardcopy bids accepted. Typically, NTN and SECP registration also required for corporate entities, though not explicitly stated here.
