For Bidders: Our Analysis PAKISTANTENDER INSIGHT

Independent analysis by PakistanTender — not part of the official notice. Always confirm details against the original tender document.

NED University seeks a single 500KVA oil-type power transformer—a specialized electrical asset for institutional infrastructure.

Scale is modest (one unit) but the buyer's prominence and likely performance requirements suggest quality expectations above typical commercial procurement. Three-year demonstrated experience and Rs 5M+ annual turnover threshold indicate preference for established suppliers; newer or smaller firms face meaningful barriers. No recurring purchase signal evident; likely one-off replacement or capacity expansion. Tight document window (16 July–3 August) and strict EPADS-only submission rules demand early mobilization.

Who can bid: Valid FBR or SRB registration (tax/sales tax) required. Minimum three years' relevant power transformer supply experience. Average annual turnover Rs 5M+ (last three years, with detailed statements). Non-judicial stamp affidavit required: no litigation, non-blacklisted status, certification against corrupt/fraudulent practices. Typically, bidders must also be technically competent (certifications/standards compliance for transformers) and financially solvent.
