Description / Scope of Work

NIDA-PAKISTAN is procuring a toolkit of tools for farmers to establish demonstration areas for high-yield and high-quality cereal seed production. This tender covers the supply of farming tools and equipment required to support seed production demonstrations in Besham and Chitral locations within the Federal territory of Pakistan. The procurement is aimed at enhancing farmer capacity and promoting improved agricultural practices through practical demonstration areas, contributing to increased cereal production quality and yields across the target regions.

Eligible suppliers must possess a minimum of two previous purchase orders or agreements for the same or similar supply and services. Prospective bidders are required to submit technical samples for assessment against specified quality standards. Bid submissions should comply with all technical specifications outlined in the attached tool kit documentation, and bidders must demonstrate their capability to deliver items according to the prescribed requirements.

Bid documents are available as attached files, specifically the detailed Tool Kit (Farmer) specification document. The closing date for applications is 22nd July 2026. Evaluation will be conducted on a three-tiered basis: financial evaluation carrying 70 marks, sample assessment carrying 20 marks across all items with individual item compliance evaluation, and previous experience carrying 10 marks. For further information or technical support, interested bidders may contact NIDA-PAKISTAN through the BrightSpyre portal at https://nida_pakistan.brightspyre.com.

For Bidders: Our Analysis PAKISTANTENDER INSIGHT

Independent analysis by PakistanTender — not part of the official notice. Always confirm details against the original tender document.

NIDA-Pakistan seeks toolkit suppliers for cereal seed production demos in Besham and Chitral—a capacity-building initiative targeting smallholder farmers.

Scale appears medium; procurement emphasizes practical demonstration tools rather than bulk commodity supply. Notable: two-year deadline unusual; technical sample submission mandatory, weighted heavily (20/100 marks), suggesting quality assurance priority over price. Recurring potential if demos expand to other regions, but current scope appears one-off pilot.

Who can bid: Bidders must hold minimum two prior purchase orders/agreements for identical or similar agricultural tool supply. Typically, suppliers require NTN registration and SECP incorporation (if company) or documented business registration. Registration with PEC not explicitly stated but may be required for agricultural machinery—verify with NIDA-Pakistan portal. No restriction on company size stated.
