Solar Irrigation Tube Wells Installation by Gomal Zam Irrigation Division

The Gomal Zam Irrigation Division, Irrigation Department, Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, invites competitive bids from approved contractors registered with the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Revenue Authority (KPPRA) under Rules 2014 for the construction of flood protection works, irrigation channels, and ponds, along with the installation of solar-based irrigation tube wells across multiple districts. The project encompasses the installation of 10 solar irrigation tube wells in District DIKhan with associated solar power systems, pumping machinery, and accessories. The scope includes Package-I through Package-IV installations in UC Khan Muhammad, Panyala District DIKhan, with additional installations in UC Hathala District DIKhan, plus solar tube wells in District DIKhan, UC Chehkan Hanidan, UC Choudwan, and Village Cheena. The estimated project cost ranges from Rs 5.984 million to Rs 6.431 million depending on location and package specifications, with works located throughout Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.

Bidders must be approved contractors with renewed registration under KPPRA rules 2014 and hold valid engineering council licenses for the financial year 2025-26 in appropriate categories. Firms must be the manufacturers or duly authorized producers of supplied solar panels, pumping inverters, pumps, and motors, with manufacturer's authorization certificates and valid purchase history required. Firms must have successfully completed similar solar system irrigation projects within the past five years and must submit sales tax returns, income tax returns, and audited financial balance sheets. Bid security of 2% of estimated cost must be submitted as a deposit in the name of the Executive Engineer, Gomal Zam Irrigation Division DIKhan.

Bid documents must be uploaded through ePADS portal at https://kp.eprocure.gov.pk before the closing time on 30 July 2026. Technical bids will be opened on the same day at 1:00 PM in the office of the Executive Engineer in presence of contractors and representatives. A pre-bid meeting will be held on 23 July 2026 at 2:00 PM at the office of the Executive Engineer, Gomal Zam Irrigation Division DIKhan. Bid validity period is 90 days from opening.
