Description / Scope of Work
This tender invites sealed bids for the raising and strengthening of banks along Lower Nara Canal, including stone pitching and stone apron work, as well as desilting operations along the Lower Nara Canal in Mirpurkhas, Sindh. The estimated project cost is Rs. 399.200 million with a completion period of 24 months. This is a Single Stage Two Envelope procurement process under SPPRA Rules 2010 as amended, issued by the Executive Engineer, Thar Division, with project identification number 1/1202. The work encompasses earthwork and stone pitching activities essential for canal maintenance and flood management in the region.
Contractors must possess a minimum category rating of C-3 & Above and hold a valid Registration Certificate from the Pakistan Engineering Council up to June 2027. Bid security of Rs. 20.00 million is required, and tenderers should have completed similar civil works projects valued at not less than 85% of the estimated cost within the last five years. All bidders must submit documentary evidence of equipment ownership or rental arrangements, valid tax registration with the Federal Board of Revenue, and audited financial reports. Technical proposals must demonstrate relevant experience and competency in canal works and stone pitching operations.
Bidding documents costing Rs. 5,000 are available through the E-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System (ePADS) portal. The last date for receipt of applications and tender documents is July 31, 2026 by 11:30 AM, with tender opening on the same day at 12:30 PM.
