Description / Scope of Work
The Foot & Mouth Disease Research Centre (FMDRC), located on Barki Road, Lahore, Punjab, has invited sealed bids under Tender No. 01 for the supply of Silage (Maize Silage) for the procurement year 2026-27. The required quantity is 1,50,000 Kg to be delivered within the period specified after issuance of the Purchase Order, up to 15.06.2027. The estimated contract price for this non-development procurement, funded by the Government of the Punjab, is PKR 4.8 Million, and the contract identification number is 01/FMDRC/2026-27.
Interested firms/contractors must be registered with the Sales Tax Department and must print their Sales Tax number and NTN on both technical and financial proposals, along with proof of Professional Tax and clear declaration of GST treatment. A bid security of 2% (PKR 96,000) of the estimated price is mandatory in the form of a Bank Guarantee, CDR, Demand Draft, Pay Order or Banker's Cheque valid 90 days beyond bid validity. Bids lacking security, having shorter validity, improper business address, or without a sample will be rejected. Bid validity is 90 days and performance guarantee is 5% of the Purchase Order value.
Bidders must submit bids through the Punjab e-Procurement System by Wednesday, 05-08-2026 at 11:00 AM, with bids opening the same day at 11:30 AM. Original bid security instruments must be submitted at or before technical bid opening, with a copy uploaded on the e-Procurement portal.
