For Bidders: Our Analysis PAKISTANTENDER INSIGHT

Independent analysis by PakistanTender — not part of the official notice. Always confirm details against the original tender document.

MEPCO seeks implementation of an enterprise Asset Performance Management System covering 2940 units—a substantial digital infrastructure contract for a major power utility. The 12 August 2026 closing date indicates moderate preparation time; bidders must be e-procurement platform-ready and capable of international competitive bidding standards. System installation projects of this scale typically involve integration with existing SCADA/IT systems and demand technical expertise in utility sector software. The DDP terms and international ICB format suggest significant contract value and rigorous evaluation criteria.

Who can bid: Bidders must register on EPADS 2.0 platform; manual submissions are rejected. Bid security from a scheduled Pakistani bank is mandatory. Typically, software and system installation contracts require vendor registration with relevant technology bodies, valid business registration (SECP), and NTN. Prior experience in utility sector asset management systems is likely preferred though not explicitly stated.
