Lahore University of Management Sciences invites sealed bids for the supply of VMware vSphere Foundation on a one-year subscription basis for 192 units under Contract No. 53214655 with Site ID 17089251. The tender is issued in Punjab and encompasses software licensing, deployment, configuration, and installation services as per principal best practices. The scope includes 24x7 software and hardware support with next business day RMA services provided by both the principal and authorized partner, along with latest software and firmware update releases throughout the subscription period.
Bidders must be Principal or Advance level partners of VMware with a minimum of five years partnership status maintained with the principal, evidenced by a partnership letter demonstrating Tier 1, Gold, or Value Added partnership designation. Bidders must submit proof of technical competence of deployment teams including profiles and relevant certificates. A Proof of Concept may be required before purchase order issuance. Only complete solutions will be accepted; partial solutions are disqualified. Vendors must perform requirement gathering and submit technical and financial proposals accordingly, with any incompatibility losses borne by the vendor or principal. Special educational discount pricing is expected. Release dates, end of sales, support duration, and product lifecycle information must be specified in proposals.
Sealed bids marked Confidential with tender reference LUMS/289/2026 must be submitted by 28 July 2026 at 3:00 PM, with bid opening scheduled for the same date at 3:30 PM. The evaluation process comprises three stages covering mandatory technical requirements, rated criteria scoring, and pricing evaluation. Evaluation factors include partner status, pricing competitiveness, product stability, compatibility, specifications, and features. Vendors must deliver and install products at LUMS.
