This is a large-scope annual framework contract for diverse goods and services across an irrigation division in Sindh. The procurement spans maintenance, repairs, vehicles, materials and emergency supplies. Notably, rates are locked for the entire 2026-27 financial year with call-off on requirement basis, requiring contractors to maintain inventory readiness. The substantial bid security (Rs. 2.6 million) indicates significant contract value. A tight closing deadline (3 August 2026) and secondary bid schedule suggest strong procurement urgency. Recurring annual nature makes this attractive for suppliers seeking sustained revenue.
Who can bid: Bidders must be registered with Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) and State Revenue Board (SRB), and with Provincial and Federal Tax authorities. Typically, contractors supplying goods and services to government require valid NTN and sales tax registration. The notice does not specify PEC or other certifications, but government procurement typically requires demonstrated past experience or references.
