Description / Scope of Work
The Centre of Excellence in Molecular Biology (CEMB), located at CEMB-87 West Canal Bank Road, Thokar Niaz Baig, Lahore, Punjab, is inviting sealed tenders for the supply of cross over benches, working tables and wall mounted cabinet for establishment of the CEMB Molecular Diagnostic Facility Lab. This is Lot 01 of a three-lot procurement with an estimated price of Rs. 11,00,000 PKR. The tender is issued under Single Stage One Envelope Bidding through e-procurement (ePADS 2.0), and bidders are required to submit sealed tenders by the closing date. This procurement covers furniture items essential for the laboratory setup and establishment of diagnostic facilities.
Only registered contractors who are on the active tax payers list (ATC) of FBR are eligible to participate in tender competition. Bidders must submit a bid security of 2% of the estimated price in the shape of a CDR (Call Deposit Receipt) in the name of the Director, CEMB. Bids must be complete, signed and stamped on each page, with all amounts filled through typing rather than handwritten. Income tax and Punjab sales tax will be deducted as per government rules. The defect liability period is 6 months from the date of completion certificate, with a retention money of 10% of gross value of work done.
Complete sets of bidding documents may be downloaded from the CEMB official website (www.cemb.edu.pk) and the ePADS 2.0 portal. Tenders must be uploaded on the e-procurement portal (ePADS v2.0) and delivered at the Purchase Section CEMB, University of the Punjab, Lahore on or before 16 October 2026 at 10:00 AM in sealed envelopes.
